In Person is a 1962 album from baritone gospel singer Alan McGill, released on Sacred Records. One of the most popular Christian recording artists of the 1950s and 1960s, McGill is joined here by the arrangements and orchestra of Ralph Carmichael in a warm, evangelistic collection of beloved hymns and gospel standards. Highlights include “Burdens Are Lifted at Calvary,” “God Will Take Care of You,” “The Savior Is Waiting,” “Jesus Paid It All,” “Ten Thousand Angels,” “The Unveiled Christ,” and “May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You.” Recorded in the early 1960s, this classic captures McGill’s clear, heartfelt style and the rich sound of Carmichael’s arrangements — perfect for fans of traditional gospel and vintage Sacred Records releases.
