Shatter the Darkness is the 1979 album from Christian rock band Fireworks (featuring Marty McCall), released on Myrrh Records and produced by Chris Christian. Often regarded as the band’s strongest release, it blends melodic pop-rock with progressive touches and powerful, emotive vocals from McCall. Standout tracks include the title cut, “Change My Heart,” “Beautiful Woman,” and “I Know Power,” exploring faith, hope, and spiritual strength. A classic late-70s CCM album for fans of vintage Christian rock and Marty McCall’s distinctive voice.
