Fireworks is the 1977 self-titled debut album from the Nashville-based Christian vocal group Fireworks, released on Myrrh Records. Formed by Marty McCall, Gary Pigg, and Gwen Moore (who had previously sung backup for artists like B.J. Thomas), the trio delivered polished soft-rock and adult contemporary Christian music with strong vocal harmonies. Produced by Chris Christian, the album features tracks such as “New Day,” “Don’t Look Back,” “Presence of the Lord,” “Forever With You,” “Maybe It’s Love,” and “New Man.” A warm, melodic early CCM release that launched McCall’s career (later of First Call) and showcases the group’s uplifting, radio-friendly style — ideal for fans of classic 1970s Jesus music and adult contemporary gospel.
