The Real Thing (2026) is a 6-track release from Franni Cash on Capitol CMG, led by the title song and gathering several of her early solo singles. The confessional title track—co-written with Austin Cain, Ed Cash, and Justin Wilson—comes from a dark season of seeking authentic faith beyond façades: “I want the real thing / Nothing else can satisfy.” The collection also includes “Darken the Doorway,” “Menace,” “Raised By Wolves,” “Jesus All Along,” and “Church Clothes.” These tracks highlight Cash’s honest, personal songwriting as she steps into her solo career, blending pop and singer-songwriter styles with themes of faith, healing, and discovering what’s genuine.
