After a Dream (1984) is a classical album pairing renowned organist Diane Bish with cellist Anne Martindale Williams (longtime principal cellist of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra). Produced by Kurt Kaiser for Word Records, it features elegant transcriptions and arrangements of works by Bach, Fauré, Haydn, Debussy, Saint-Saëns, J.C. Bach, and others. Diane Bish, host of the long-running The Joy of Music television series and former organist at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, brings her signature artistry to the organ, while Williams’s lyrical cello adds warmth and expression. The result is a serene, beautifully balanced collection of chamber music ideal for quiet listening.
